Dobbs & Company was founded in 1991 by Charlotte Dobbs. Recognized
as one of the top political and non-profit fundraising firms in
the country, we take a people-focused approach to our work that
stresses the building of long-term relationships with donors and
clients. Drawing upon our network of contacts locally and nationwide,
we seek to build the means to success for each one of our clients.

CHARLOTTE
DOBBS 
President
Charlotte
Dobbs has been a fundraising consultant since 1983. From March
1983 through January 1985, she was associated with the fundraising
firm of Catherine Unger & Associates, during which time she
helped coordinate the California fundraising efforts of U.S. Presidential
candidate Gary Hart. From January 1985 through January 1991, Charlotte
was associated with the fundraising firm of Unger/Thomas, and
on February 1, 1991, she established her own fundraising organization,
Charlotte Dobbs & Co.
With
a broad background in public relations, marketing, research, event
management, the design and implementation of long-range fundraising
strategies, direct mail campaigns, and a wide assortment of fundraising
approaches from one-on-one meetings with major donors to major
concerts, Charlotte Dobbs & Co. is a full-service fundraising
organization. During the first 10 years of operation, Charlotte
raised over $35 million for her clients.
Prior
to her association with Catherine Unger & Associates and Unger/Thomas,
Charlotte was a free-lance writer and marketing
consultant for a variety of advertising agencies, management consulting
firms, and marketing companies. She has also spent six years in
the entertainment industry in motion picture and television
development,
and
was a staff writer for two years on the ABC-TV sitcom, “Laverne
& Shirley,” as well as a staff writer
on the NBC-TV daytime soap opera, “Santa Barbara.”
Born in Cleveland,
Ohio and raised in Southern California, Charlotte graduated summa
cum laude from California State University of Fullerton in 1970
with a degree in Communications and did graduate work at the Public
Systems Research Institute, University of Southern California,
with an emphasis in the criminal justice system. She has also
traveled extensively throughout the United States, Canada, Mexico,
Central America, Europe and the Middle East.
ANNE
PEDERSON

Vice President
Anne Pederson
is Vice President of Charlotte Dobbs & Co. Having joined the
company in June 2000, Anne has co-managed Los Angeles events for
Hillary Clinton's Senate Race 2000, as well as Joe Biden's Senate
Race 2002, and Mark Ridley-Thomas' campaign for Los Angeles County
Board of Supervisors.
She has also
coordinated fundraising activities for Alex Padilla's campaign
for State Senate and his re-election campaign; Felipe Fuentes
for State Assembly and his re-election campaign; Eric Garcetti's
re-election campaigns to the Los Angeles City Council; José
Huizar for Los Angeles City Council and his re-election campaign;
Ed Reyes' re-election campaign for Los Angeles City Council; Mónica
García for LAUSD Board of Education and her re-election
campaign; the Friends of the Los Angeles County Law Library annual
events; events for the Children's Museum of Los Angeles; and was
the lead contact for Jim Pederson for U.S. Senate in Arizona.
In addition,
Anne manages all client finance reports, oversees data entry,
coordinates all candidate correspondence and logistics for events.
Born and raised
in Tempe, Arizona, Anne earned a B.A. in Communication from the
University of Arizona.
JILLIAN
RANDLES

Account Executive
Jillian Randles
is an Account Executive, joining Charlotte Dobbs & Co. in
2006. Jillian has been involved in campaigns for clients such
as Bob Blumenfield, Lucille Roybal-Allard, Linda Sanchez, Mark
Ridley-Thomas, and Bill Rosendahl. Formerly, she worked for the
Labour Party in the United Kingdom on their E-campaign under
the direction of Tony Blair. She received a degree in Political
Science from UC San Diego.
NOLINA
BERGMAN

Junior Account Executive
Nolina Bergman
joined Charlotte Dobbs & Co. in 2008. She received a degree
in Literature from California State University Long Beach. Nolina
has been involved with campiagns for Bill Rosendahl and Gloria
Romero.
